What does a Buyer's Agent do?
- A buyers representative works soley for you and has no legal or other responsibilities to the seller.
- A buyers agent will help you present an offer, negotiate, and close a transaction.
- Most important, our services are FREE to the buyer in each and every purchase - the seller or the builder pays our commission!!
- When building a new home with a builder, you still MUT have your own representation - the person in the model home can and will write your contract, but they are strictly representing the builder. Therefore nobody is looking out fo the buyers needs. IT DOES NOT COST ANY MORE MONEY TO BUILD A NEW HOME IF YOU BRING YOUR OWN BUYERS AGENT!
Steve and Kathy had actually found my current home about 8 years ago. We enjoyed working with THE PERRI/HANSON TEAM back then and decided to give them a call when it came time to sell our house. We were juggling a lot at the time: New business, building a new home, working lots of overtime, etc. We really weren't looking forward to having to deal with all the things that come along with selling a house.
THE PERRI/HANSON TEAM came up with a recommended list price based on current market conditions and a number they thought would draw in buyers quickly. Within the first 4 days of listing the house, we had close to 20 showings and 5 offers!! We settled on one offer that was well over our asking price. They were even able to negotiate a deal with the buyers to rent the house back to us until our new house was finished being built - so we'd only have to move once!
It could not have worked out better for us!
