- Interview at least 3 agents or teams prior to listing your home.
- Ask important questions such as years experience, marketing plans, and of course what their suggested price for your home is.
- Be careful with teams... do you have the whole support of the team, or just the team leader? Are the team members related? If so, find out if they both leave town at the same time, leaving you with nobody watching over the marketing of YOUR home.
- Discounts - watch out for discount brokers! They will offer you a discount but there are ways they can do that without discounting their OWN fees, which will drastically reduce showings on your home.
